Adeline Margaret Butzin went to be with her Lord on April 10, 2022. She was born April 19, 1933 at home in rural Veblen, South Dakota to Wenzel and Antonia (Zahradnek) Vrchota. Growing up on a farm with 3 brothers and 4 sisters and a niece, she enjoyed gardening, feeding birds, going to movies, dancing and skiing. She always loved music and bought a guitar when she was 16 years old. She met Henry Butzin at a local dance and they married in 1953. They raised their family of 8 children near Sebeka, Minnesota. She liked drawing, embroidery, setting puzzles, collecting roosters, playing scrabble, pie baking, blueberry picking and was an avid Twins Baseball fan. Adeline volunteered at the Christian school in Bluffton. She loved her Lord and enjoyed going to church and Bible studies. Adeline has 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings and a grandchild. She is survived by her children Lori (Conrad) Goroski of Argyle, MN, Irene (Jim) Loessberg of Belgrade, MT, Vivian (Karl) Hartman of Red Wing, MN, Donna (Kevin) Spates of Glenwood, MN, David Butzin of Bozeman, MT, Duane Butzin of Blaine, MN, Violet (Bob) Close of Spotsylvania, VA and Sandy (Gary) Case of Garner, IA. Memorial Services will be Saturday, April 16 at 11:00a.m. at Wadena Assembly of God Church. Following the service will be a luncheon at the church. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and thanks to those who have shown their support in our time of loss.
