Arline “Jeep” Joarnt, age 84 of Menagha, passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2025. Jeep was born to Herbert and Marguerite Grubbs on March 31, 1940, in Centerville, MN. Jeep was united in marriage to Lawrence “Larry” Joarnt on November 21, 1959. They resided in Coon Rapids, raising their son Lonnie, prior to relocating to Nimnot area in 2001. Jeep retired from Dow Chemical (an executive secretary) and, as a master gardener, spent most of her time in her massive flower and hosta garden during retirement. Jeep is survived by her daughter in law Barb Joarnt of St. Anthony, three sisters Donna Emily of Circle Pines, Audrey (Jerry) Boyd of Grantsburg, Debora (Steve) Martin of Yuma, AZ, two brothers Stanley (Mary) Grubbs of Pine City, Clifford (Wendy) Grubbs of Wyoming, sisters in law Marilyn Grubbs of Forest Lake, Linda Grubbs of Lino Lakes, brother in law Bob Veitch of Pine City, many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Marguerite Grubbs, husband Larry, son Lonnie, three brothers, Calvin Grubbs, Leslie “Buster” Grubbs, and Larry Grubbs, two sisters, Jane Apitz and Lois Veitch, and brother-in-law Marvin Emily.
