Brenda Marie Simi

Brenda Marie Simi, 59, passed away peacefully on July 28th, 2023 at Stanford hospital in Fargo, ND. Brenda was the Wife of Aaron L. Simi, who she shared 32 years of marriage with. Born in Minneapolis, MN, Brenda was the daughter of Kenneth L. Torma and Muriel A. (Niskanen) Torma. She attended Menahga public school in her younger years and finished her schooling at Alexandria Tech. Brenda worked in the healthcare field after graduating, and was employed with Astera Health in the Sebeka Clinic as a Patient Access Representative for the previous 15 years. Brenda enjoyed fishing, being outside, shopping, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Brenda will be remembered for her strength and resilience, her quick wit and sense of humor, and the way she loved and cared for those around her, deeply. Brenda is survived by her Husband, Aaron L. Simi, Sons: Michael Knudsen, Matthew Simi, Daughters: Ann Samuel, Tayler (John) Clark, Sara (Norman) Baker, Hannah (Tony) Becker, Jessica Jensen, and 19 living grandchildren. Brenda is preceded by her Mother- Muriel, Father- Kenneth, Brother- Kenneth Jr., and Granddaughter T’Leigha. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at First English Lutheran Church in Menahga, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date.
