In Loving Memory of Jennifer Amy Kuschel

Jennifer Amy Kuschel, age 49, greeted her Savior and Lord on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at her home on the ranch.

Jennifer was born on February 18, 1977, in Wadena, Minnesota, to Doug and Paula (Bimberg) Kuschel of McKinley Township in Cass County. She was the oldest of two children. Her parents operated a cattle ranch, and from an early age, Jen loved the ranch life. Whether riding with her dad on the bobsled to take hay out to the cattle or helping her mom with the milking chores, she was happiest when she was surrounded by animals and working alongside her family.

Jen was active in 4-H, where she enjoyed showing livestock, and she competed in high school rodeo. She learned the leather trade at an early age from her dad, Doug, developing a remarkable talent for creating everything from chinks to horse bridles.

Jen attended Sebeka High School and graduated in 1995. Soon afterward, she moved to Idaho, where she fell in love with the mountains and established her own business, Cow Creek Custom Saddlery. In 2006, she returned home to Minnesota and joined her dad at the 33 Ranch and Saddlery, where they worked together creating custom saddles and leather goods.

Jen was a master leather tooler with a rare ability to take an idea and bring it to life in leather. Her creativity, craftsmanship, and love for the trade were a true reflection of the gifts she had been given.

One of Jen's greatest joys in life was spending time with her niece and nephews. She loved teaching Adrienna, Zane, and Bowdrie to be kind, courteous, and thoughtful. She also loved to draw and spent countless hours sketching alongside Adrienna, sharing her creativity and making special memories together.

Jen will be remembered for her love of the ranch, animals, horses, leatherwork, family, and the simple joys of life. Her presence, creativity, kindness, and the memories she made with those she loved will remain in their hearts forever.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, Morris and Stella Kuschel and Albert and Evelyn Bimberg.

She is survived by her parents, Doug and Paula (Bimberg) Kuschel; her brother, Levi (RoseAnna) Kuschel; her niece, Adrienna Kuschel; and her nephews, Zane Kuschel and Bowdrie Kuschel.

Jen's life was deeply rooted in faith, family, and the ranch she loved. She is now home with her Savior, leaving behind a legacy of love, craftsmanship, and cherished memories that will live on in all who knew her.
